Elizabeth Leigh Vassey

American actress Elizabeth Leigh Vassey, born August 9, 1972, is an American. She is well-known for her roles as Emily Ann Sago, Captain Liberty, in All My Children and in The Tick. Wendy Simms as Wendy Simms in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2001, Wendy Beaumont in Nikki & Nora in Nikki & Nora. Vassey was a teenager Emily Ann Sago on the soap opera All My Children from 1988 to 1991. Vassey was a frequent actor on the series Tru Calling from 2004 to 2005 as Dr. Carrie Allen. Vassey was Wendy Simms, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's character who recurred from 2005 until 2010. Vassey began to appear in the opening credits of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as a regular cast member as well as being promoted to a permanent role with the tenth season. Entertainment Weekly reported June 1, 2010, that Vassey was not returning for the show's 11th season. Vassey was featured in an episode in the season. Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, along with co-star Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company called Neurosis to an T(ee) that creates and sells slogan-covered T-shirts for women. The slogans are a fun way to mock women's worries and anxieties. They often relate to relationships.

She is well-known for her role as Kim Fischer on The Mentalist and as Amara the Darkness in the 11th season of Supernatural. She was also the Armorer in Star Wars' live-action series The Mandalorian.
