Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actress from Canada. She was the Teletoon children's comedy show Majority Rules' Becky Richards. From 2009 until 2010 she was the lead character Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's show Majority Rules! From 2009 to 2010, she was a star as Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) on the NBC series Revolution which is a post-apocalyptic science fiction show. The show was nominated to a Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. Annika Johnson was her role in the A&E television show Bates Motel. Spiridakos was a part of the cast as Detective Hailey Upton in the A&E television drama Bates Motel. playing Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents and restaurant owners George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. The family relocated to their father's home town, Skala, Greece south of Sparta, a few years after she was born, and returned to Canada in 1992. She is strongly linked to her Greek roots, and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting in junior high school. She later trained at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos relocated to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She landed her first television role within weeks, a small role in Supernatural. She appeared on television for several more years with parts on Psych, The L Word, Hellcats and Bionic Woman. Spiridakos was in the TV film Goblin and in the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also was a regular on Being Human, as Brynn McLean, the werewolf. In 2009, the actress got her first lead role in Majority Rules! Canada, where she played 15-year-old Becky Richards. In 2011 she made her debut as a feature film with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She was also the director of Kill for Me, a low-budget horror film by Michael Greenspan. The film starred Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy and was directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos played Sammi in Rags in Rags, which was a Nickelodeon original movie. Then, she was offered a lead part on the NBC TV series Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, one of the survivors in an unimaginative future society. While attending her first pilot season, she was a candidate for this part. Spiridakos shot her pilot in Atlanta. The pilot season was shot in Wilmington, North Carolina. In recognition of her performance in the pilot she was nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV. She was defeated by Fringe's Anna Torv. In the second season, production was moved to Austin Texas.
